THE SEVEN FRIDAYS
USER TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Last updated: 4 June 2026
1. Introduction and Acceptance
Welcome to The Seven Fridays, an online marketplace operated by The Seven Fridays FZ-LLC, a Free Zone Limited Liability Company registered with the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone Authority (RAKEZ) under licence number 45033186, with its registered address at Compass Building, Al Shohada Road, Al Hamra Industrial Zone-FZ, Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates (referred to in this document as "The Seven Fridays," "we," "us," or "our"). These User Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") govern access to and use of our website located at https://www.thesevenfridays.com, our mobile application once released, and any related services, content, or features made available through them (together, the "Platform").
By creating an account, browsing the Platform, completing a booking, or otherwise using any part of our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which are incorporated herein by reference. Should you disagree with any provision set out below, you must refrain from accessing or using the Platform. Continued use following the publication of revised Terms constitutes acceptance of those revisions.
2. Definitions
For interpretive clarity, the following expressions carry the meanings ascribed to them throughout these Terms.
User: Any natural or legal person who accesses, registers on, or transacts through the Platform, whether as a registered account holder or as a visitor.
Supplier: Any third-party merchant, salon, hotel, beach club, wellness or fitness provider, food-and-beverage outlet, tour operator, activity organiser, or other vendor whose services or products are listed for booking on the Platform.
Booking: A confirmed reservation or purchase of a Supplier's service or product made by a User through the Platform.
Experience: The service, activity, product, or attraction offered by a Supplier and presented within a Platform listing, including, by way of illustration, wellness treatments, dining reservations, desert safaris, and adventure activities such as skydiving or ziplining.
Content: All text, images, descriptions, pricing, availability, reviews, and other materials displayed on the Platform.
3. Role of the Platform
The Seven Fridays operates exclusively as an intermediary marketplace that connects Users with independent Suppliers. We facilitate discovery, booking, and payment for Experiences, yet we are not the producer, owner, or provider of the underlying Experiences themselves. Each Supplier remains solely responsible for the performance, quality, safety, licensing, and lawful delivery of its own Experience.
Accordingly, a contract for the provision of any Experience is formed directly between the User and the relevant Supplier at the moment a Booking is confirmed. We are not a party to that contract, save in our capacity as the authorised collector of payment and as the operator of the booking infrastructure described in these Terms. Nothing herein shall be construed as creating a partnership, agency (beyond limited payment-collection authority), joint venture, or employment relationship between The Seven Fridays and any Supplier or User.
4. Eligibility and User Accounts
Access to bookable services requires registration of a User account. To register, you must be at least eighteen years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction of residence if higher, and you must possess the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts. Where a Booking concerns an Experience subject to a minimum age, health, or fitness requirement, you warrant that you and any accompanying participants satisfy those requirements.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep that information updated. Responsibility for safeguarding your login credentials rests with you, and you accept liability for all activity conducted through your account, except to the extent such activity results from our own proven negligence. Should you suspect any unauthorised use of your account, prompt notification to us is required. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false information, that are used in breach of these Terms, or that present a security or fraud risk.
5. Bookings and Confirmation
Listings displayed on the Platform constitute an invitation to make a Booking rather than a binding offer. When you submit a Booking request and complete payment, a confirmation will be issued through the Platform, at which point the Booking becomes binding subject to Supplier availability. In the rare circumstance that a Supplier cannot honour a confirmed Booking owing to an availability error, you will be offered an alternative slot, a rescheduling option, or a refund in accordance with Section 8.
Each listing sets out material particulars of the Experience, including its description, price, inclusions, exclusions, and any conditions imposed by the Supplier. Because product onboarding is presently performed by The Seven Fridays on the basis of information supplied by each Supplier, we take reasonable care to present listings faithfully; nevertheless, the Supplier bears ultimate responsibility for the accuracy of the particulars relating to its own Experience.
6. Pricing and Payments
All prices are displayed in the currency indicated on the Platform and, unless otherwise stated, are inclusive of applicable value-added tax in accordance with the relevant fiscal legislation of the United Arab Emirates. The Seven Fridays collects the full payment for each Booking at the point of purchase, acting as the authorised payment-collection agent for the participating Supplier.
Following monthly consolidation of completed sales, we remit to each Supplier the amount due after deduction of our agreed commission and any sums withheld in respect of refunds processed under Section 8. The commercial arrangements between The Seven Fridays and its Suppliers, including commission rates and payout thresholds, are governed by a separate Partner Service Agreement and do not affect the price payable by the User, which is the price displayed at checkout. Payment processing is performed through reputable third-party payment service providers, and your use of those services may be subject to their own terms.
7. Cancellations, Rescheduling, and No-Shows
Cancellation, rescheduling, and amendment conditions vary according to the nature of each Experience and are determined by the relevant Supplier. The applicable conditions are disclosed within the listing or at checkout before you confirm a Booking, and by completing the Booking you accept those conditions. Certain Experiences, particularly time-sensitive activities, group departures, and reservations requiring advance commitment of resources, may be non-refundable or subject to graduated cancellation charges.
Failure to attend a confirmed Experience without prior cancellation in accordance with the disclosed policy (a "no-show") may result in forfeiture of the sums paid. Where you wish to cancel or reschedule, you should do so through your account or by contacting our support team, and the outcome will be assessed against the Supplier's published policy and the consumer-protection rules described below.
8. Refunds
We administer refunds in our capacity as payment-collection agent, applying the criteria set out in this section and the mandatory protections afforded by applicable consumer-protection legislation, including, for Users in the United Arab Emirates, Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection and its Executive Regulations issued under Cabinet Decision No. 66 of 2023, and, for Users habitually resident in the European Union, the consumer-protection rules of their country of residence.
Eligibility Criteria: A User may claim a refund where a Supplier declines, refuses, cancels, or fails to provide a booked Experience, or where the Experience delivered is materially inferior to the description, quality, or standard represented at the time of Booking. A refund will be issued only after we have completed a reasonable investigation and determined that the User is rightfully entitled to it.
Procedural Requirements: Requests must be submitted through the Platform or to our support team, accompanied by the Booking reference and a clear account of the issue, together with any supporting evidence such as photographs or correspondence. We will acknowledge each request, liaise with the relevant Supplier, and communicate our determination within a reasonable period.
Timelines: Where a refund is approved, the corresponding sum will be returned to the original payment method within a commercially reasonable timeframe, ordinarily not exceeding fourteen days from approval, subject to the processing times of the relevant payment provider and banking channels.
Treatment of Commission: Where a refund is granted by reason of a Supplier's failure or default, The Seven Fridays retains its commission for the affected Booking and recovers the refunded amount by deduction from that Supplier's subsequent payout, in accordance with the Partner Service Agreement.
Exclusions: Refunds will not ordinarily be available for change-of-mind cancellations falling outside a Supplier's stated cancellation window, for no-shows, for personalised or bespoke services that have already commenced or been performed, or for digital products or vouchers that have been redeemed, save where a mandatory statutory right requires otherwise. Statutory rights of withdrawal that cannot lawfully be excluded, including any applicable cooling-off entitlement under the consumer law governing your jurisdiction, remain unaffected by these exclusions.
9. Supplier Responsibility and Service Standards
Each Supplier warrants to Users that it holds the licences, permits, insurance, and regulatory approvals necessary to provide its Experience lawfully, and that it will deliver the Experience with reasonable skill, care, and professionalism. Responsibility for the safety, suitability, and lawful conduct of every Experience rests with the Supplier providing it. Where a User has a complaint concerning the conduct or quality of an Experience, The Seven Fridays will assist in good faith by facilitating communication with the Supplier and, where appropriate, by applying the refund mechanism described above; however, our role does not extend to assuming the Supplier's contractual or statutory obligations toward the User.
10. High-Risk and Adventure Activities
A number of Experiences offered on the Platform, including desert safaris, ziplining, skydiving, and comparable adventure or extreme activities, carry inherent risks. By booking such an Experience, you acknowledge those risks and accept that participation is undertaken at your own volition. You agree to comply with all safety briefings, instructions, eligibility criteria, and waiver requirements imposed by the relevant Supplier, and you confirm that you are medically and physically fit to participate. Suppliers of high-risk Experiences are required to maintain appropriate liability insurance and to operate in accordance with applicable safety regulations; responsibility for the safe conduct of the activity lies with the Supplier, and nothing in this section limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. User Conduct and Prohibited Use
In using the Platform, you undertake to act lawfully and in good faith. You shall not use the Platform to engage in fraud, to circumvent payment, to harvest data, to upload malicious code, to infringe the rights of others, or to publish unlawful, defamatory, or offensive material. Attempts to gain unauthorised access to our systems, to interfere with Platform security, or to use automated means to extract Content are strictly forbidden. Conduct of the kind described in Federal Decree-Law No. 34 of 2021 on Combating Rumours and Cybercrimes may, where applicable, be reported to the competent authorities. Violation of this section entitles us to suspend or terminate access without prejudice to any other remedy available at law.
12. Reviews, Ratings, and User-Generated Content
Registered Users may submit reviews and ratings concerning Experiences they have booked. You agree that any review you publish will be honest, based on genuine experience, and free of unlawful, abusive, or misleading material. By submitting a review or other content, you grant The Seven Fridays a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, display, reproduce, and distribute that content in connection with the operation and promotion of the Platform. We reserve the right, though we assume no obligation, to moderate, edit for length, or remove content that breaches these Terms, and we do not adopt or endorse the opinions expressed by Users in their reviews.
13. Intellectual Property
The Platform, including its design, software, databases, trademarks, logos, and editorial Content, is owned by or licensed to The Seven Fridays and is protected by the intellectual-property laws of the United Arab Emirates and applicable international conventions. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to access and use the Platform for personal, non-commercial purposes. No right to copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform is conferred upon you, save as expressly permitted herein or by mandatory law. Imagery, descriptions, and other materials relating to individual Experiences may be provided by Suppliers, who warrant that they hold the rights necessary for their use on the Platform.
14. Copyright Policy and Notice of Infringement
We respect the intellectual-property rights of others and expect Users and Suppliers to do likewise. Should you believe that Content available on the Platform infringes a copyright or other proprietary right that you own or control, you may submit a written notice to us containing the following particulars: identification of the protected work alleged to have been infringed; identification and location of the allegedly infringing material on the Platform; your contact details; a statement that you hold a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised; and a declaration that the information provided is accurate. Upon receipt of a compliant notice, we will review the claim and, where warranted, remove or disable access to the material in question. Notices should be directed to legal@thesevenfridays.com. Repeat infringers may have their accounts suspended or terminated.
15. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Platform is provided on an "as available" basis. While we take reasonable care to maintain accurate listings and a functional service, we do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, nor do we warrant the conduct, solvency, or performance of any Supplier. Save in respect of liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence and liability for fraud, The Seven Fridays shall not be liable for the acts, omissions, or defaults of Suppliers, nor for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Platform or from any Experience.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability to you in connection with any Booking shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for that Booking. Mandatory consumer-protection rights conferred by the law of your jurisdiction of residence, and which cannot lawfully be limited, remain fully reserved and are unaffected by this section.
16. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Seven Fridays, its officers, employees, and agents against any claim, loss, liability, or expense, including reasonable legal costs, arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Platform, your violation of any law, or your infringement of the rights of any third party. Our right to indemnification does not extend to losses attributable to our own negligence or wilful misconduct.
17. Data Protection and Privacy
Personal data collected through the Platform is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the applicable data-protection framework. For processing connected with our establishment in the United Arab Emirates, Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data applies. Where we offer services to, or monitor the behaviour of, individuals located in the European Union, the processing of their personal data is additionally governed by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the General Data Protection Regulation). Your continued use of the Platform signifies that you have reviewed the Privacy Policy and understand how your personal data is collected, used, and protected.
18. Governing Law, Jurisdiction, and Dispute Resolution
These Terms, and any non-contractual obligations arising from or connected with them, are governed by the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied within the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the country in which a consumer User is habitually resident. Subject to those mandatory provisions, the courts of Ras Al Khaimah shall have jurisdiction over any dispute, save where the parties agree to resolve the matter through alternative dispute resolution.
Before commencing formal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us so that we may attempt an amicable resolution. For Users resident in the European Union, please note that the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform, previously available under Regulation (EU) No 524/2013, was discontinued as of 20 July 2025 following the adoption of Regulation (EU) 2024/3228. Consumers seeking out-of-court redress may instead consult the list of certified dispute-resolution bodies maintained by the European Commission at https://consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu/dispute-resolution-bodies.
19. Amendments to the Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, our commercial arrangements, or applicable law. The version in force is identified by the "Last updated" date appearing at the head of this document. Where a revision is material, we will take reasonable steps to notify registered Users, for instance by electronic message or by a prominent notice on the Platform. Your continued use following the effective date of any revision constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.
20. General Provisions
Should any provision of these Terms be held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force, and the offending provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to render it enforceable. Our failure to enforce any right or provision shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision. You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent, whereas we may assign or transfer our rights and obligations in connection with a corporate reorganisation, merger, or sale of assets. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, the Cookie Policy, and any conditions disclosed at the point of Booking, constitute the entire agreement between you and The Seven Fridays concerning your use of the Platform.
